VehiCal is provided by ICRO. This policy describes the app’s handling of your information.
Information stored on your device
VehiCal stores vehicle names and photos, odometer readings, mileage records, fuel purchases, expenses, providers, notes, categories, and preferences on your device. You choose what to enter. The app does not automatically record your location or journeys.
Optional iCloud backups
If you enable automatic backup or choose Back Up Now, VehiCal sends complete backup snapshots to your private CloudKit database in your Apple Account. Snapshots include your vehicle records, photos, categories, mileage-entry preference, and backup information such as date, record counts, and a device description. Apple operates iCloud under its own terms and privacy practices. ICRO does not operate a separate server for these records or receive them automatically through the backup feature.
Your choices and retained copies
You can edit or delete records and vehicles in the app. Existing backup snapshots may still contain earlier data. The selected history limit retains 10, 20, or 50 regular backups, plus protected pending uploads and up to three before-restore safety copies. Turning automatic backup off stops future automatic uploads but does not erase existing backups. Removing the app is not a request to erase cloud backups. Contact support for help identifying available iCloud storage controls if you want to remove cloud data. Files you export are managed separately in the location you choose.
Exporting and sharing
CSV reports and complete recovery files are shared only through actions you choose in the iOS share sheet. The destination service’s privacy practices apply. Complete recovery files include records and photos; protect them as you would other personal files.
Photos, keyboard, and dictation
VehiCal stores photos you choose to add. Keyboard and dictation features are provided by Apple according to your settings. VehiCal does not create an audio-recording collection of its own.
Advertising and analytics
The current version of VehiCal contains no advertising or third-party analytics SDKs and does not track you across other companies’ apps or websites. Apple may provide distribution, diagnostic, or testing services under your settings and Apple’s policies.
Contacting support
If you email support, ICRO receives your email address and the information you include to respond to your request. Avoid sending sensitive records unnecessarily. You may contact us about information supplied in a support request.
Changes and contact
Future versions may introduce advertising. If that happens, we will update this policy to explain any changes in data handling and obtain permission where required before those practices begin. We may also update this policy when other app practices change. The latest policy will show its revision date here.
